The Snowgard VAN from Rosava is a winter tread tire, specifically developed for commercial vehicles. The winter tread with a special compound ensures the tire has great grip on snowy and icy surfaces, better durability, improved energy efficiency, no negative environmental impact, and the ability to bear heavy loads. The use of phenol-formaldehyde tar (sourced from Poland) in our compounds, allows the tire greater resistance to lateral withdrawal (protection against slipping), ensuring good road holding and grip on icy surfaces. The use of special polymers in our compounds has increased durability, thus extending its usage life. The use of highly dispersed silica (sourced from France) in our compounds allows for optimal elasticity at low temperatures, thus ensuring maximum contact between the tread and the road (reliable grip). In addition, this allows for better energy efficiency due to the reduction of rolling resistance. The use of high-quality plasticizers (sourced from Belgium) in our rubber treads ensures that the tire meets European standards for ecological safety.
Interchangeable grooves of different shapes and sizes effectively pump water and melted snow between the tire contact area and the surface, reducing the risk of aquaplaning.
A large number of sipes, arranged in a zigzag at different angles, effectively separate the melted snow and water flows, thus ensuring better grip on snowy and icy roads.
The lateral blocks of the tread, which are interconnected, create a single contact surface, allowing the tire to support heavier loads. Meanwhile, the stiffer lateral blocks reduce braking distance and improve stability in turns.

not yet driven in negative temperatures or on snow.. quiet tires
NO problem with the tires, but they do not respect the 72-hour delivery time.
After 1000km on highway and mountain, I can give a first opinion. Silence and very reasonable average consumption for my 1995 American car, 10.5L/100KM!!! Tested on heavily snow-covered roads and frankly impeccable, very good grip, little slipping, and especially I didn't have to use socks or chains, it went to the destination without problems. Car not equipped with traction control (ASR). Very satisfied with my purchase, I recommend it.
