The Runflat tire, known as the SSR tire at Uniroyal (self-supporting-runflat), is equipped with a reinforced sidewall that prevents the sidewall from being crushed between the rim and the road in case of a puncture, and therefore the escape. Tyre with a nice tread pattern. Time will tell in use. Too early to say. But it’s certain they will be less durable than the Continental tyres, which lasted a little over 100,000 on the rear...
