I can’t yet say much about the tyre’s lifespan. It’s a relatively soft tyre that I would classify as a sporty road/track (hybrid) tyre. It feels very stable and drops into corners quite smoothly. I’ve ridden in temperatures of around 13–17 degrees and, while the tyre does warm up, it’s still below the ideal. For its category it performs respectably in the rain. However, don’t expect the performance of a Michelin road tyre; it simply isn’t made for that.

I would—and do—buy this tyre time and again. The mileage is respectable for this segment and the grip on dry roads is superb. I drive very cautiously in the wet, so I can’t say much about that; I’ve never reached the limit. I’ve taken it on the track several times already and it shines there too—no slipping whatsoever. It’s my absolute favourite!
Top tire Heats up quickly and is ideal for mountain passes. Good mileage for the MT-09. Regards, Aluis
I'm curious to see if it's really better than the 22.
A great tyre - I previously used the Michelin and then the S22 - the switch was amazing - the motorcycle rode completely differently. It warms up immediately and a slight head movement into the curve and the motorcycle (Honda CB1000R) fell into the curve on its own. I've never noticed such a difference between two top tyres - Now ordered the S23 and once again very satisfied.
