Excellent tyre in every condition... on the street it is knobby and initially felt uncomfortable but after 150 km the tyre was ready... we will see about the mileage now... it's a great 50/50 tyre but I believe mitas even 60/40 are winning... I used to have karoo3 on my xtz660 back in the days... ok, I can see the difference now with the latest model karoo4! My honest opinion? I bought it for fun to see what Mertzeler can give me with these affordable tyres... a lot of money for a pair of tyres! So I'm expecting the best... since so far I feel proud about their work and my super Tenere looks great on them...

Very good tire for its category. I feel its limits on really muddy terrain, but it's not designed for that either. I recommend it!
Mounted front and rear on a Tuareg. Dry road: less noisy than Scorpion STR at high speed and good grip, although not tested to the limits on the angle. Wet road: grips normally if you stay reasonable with torque and angle. Dry offroad: very reassuring and good guidance. Greasy mud: only your driving can help you as it fills with mud very quickly like all 50-50 / 40-60 tires. True 50-50 tire, very versatile and adapted. Tested after 1000 km.
Solid tire. I climb the slopes to the chamois
I am very positively surprised by this tire. It is very good off-road - even when it's wet. It also performs very well on the road so far. I have driven 3500 km with them (60/40) and I am very satisfied so far. I cannot say anything about the durability at the moment.
I use it again and again with pleasure. Does a great job in any weather. Nothing to complain about, even in sporty driving and in curves.
So far, after 2000 km, the tire does what it is supposed to do.
