A heavy-duty tire for steering axles, the Hankook SmartFlex AH51 ensures longevity and performance for regional journeys. It has been designed to minimize fuel needs without neglecting safety. The tread is impressive with its pattern and the technologies it incorporates: the lateral longitudinal grooves (2) are equipped with small stair-step shaped blocks that ensure uniform wear of the rubber and allow the ejection of stones and debris (Equalized Stepper T.W.E.S.); the two central bands are equipped with 3D micro-sipes for better flexibility and better traction, the blocks are thus solidly intertwined. The tire is prepared to support heavy loads thanks to the SCCT (Stiffness Control Contour Theory) technology which ensures a balanced distribution of weight and pressure.
