The widened tread increases the footprint and grip, for better fuel economy. The central blocks, thanks to the "intelligent" 3D sipes, adapt and stiffen to the ground then open to ensure optimal ventilation of the rubber. Excess water is also easily evacuated thanks to the numerous deep interstices and wide zig-zag longitudinal grooves. The V-shape of the central ribbon ensures excellent traction.
