Nokian's innovative Season Sense incorporates three technical advancements to optimize tire performance: a specific siping technique, a directional tread pattern, and an advanced rubber formulation. The design of the new "all-season" evacuation channels promotes the removal of water and mud, while the addition of silica in the rubber mix ensures high longevity, optimal grip on wet surfaces, and reduced rolling resistance.

Stability and maneuverability for versatile use of SUVs

The shoulder regions of the Nokian Seasonproof SUV have been specifically adapted for use on sport utility vehicles (SUVs).
The support of the blocks on the tread ensures stability, while the central area equipped with custom tread blocks and siping offers optimal performance, regardless of weather conditions.
For motorists, this translates into a feeling of stability on the road, as well as precise handling on roads wet from rain or snowy in winter.

Tire wear indicator

The Nokian Seasonproof SUV tire is equipped with a system that alerts the driver to the need to replace their tires. This system, named Wear Indicator, shows the remaining tread depth in millimeters and the numbers fade gradually as the tire deteriorates. To maintain safety during the winter season, it is recommended that the tire grooves measure between 4 and 5 millimeters. As long as the tire retains at least 4 millimeters of groove, the snowflake icon remains visible. When this icon is no longer visible, it means that it is time to replace the tires in order to maintain safe driving conditions.

Summer performance and winter safety

The redesigned tread pattern of the tire optimizes performance for the summer season. Significant improvements are observed in braking on both wet and dry roads, thanks to specifically designed sipes that reduce the stopping distance and increase safety in curves by providing more traction and control. In addition, the elements designed for snow, positioned between the tread sections, ensure better grip on snow, both when braking and accelerating, and enhance safety when driving on fresh snow or various types of loose surfaces.

I am going to change them because it's been 4 years since I put them on and they are not worn out, I have them at the back, front ones are Continental, they are a year and a half old, and in the spring I will change them for unquestionable Nokia.
