Description

The Pirelli Cinturato P7 215/55 R17 94W (DEMO, Seal Inside) is designed in order to significantly reduce noise produced by the rolling resistance. In the manufacturing process, Pirelli entirely rejected the use of strong aromatic oils. Compared to the previous model, the Cinturato P7 215/55 R17 94W (DEMO, Seal Inside) displays a rolling resistance reduced by 20%. With a Seal Inside™ tire, a puncture does not leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere: you can go home to change your tire or go directly to a garage.
This Seal Inside™ technology is usable on all vehicles according to the tire dimensions.

Phase 1
The external object, such as a nail, is surrounded by the mastic present in the tire.
Phase 2
If the object is expelled, the mastic gradually fills the hole left by the object.
Phase 3
When the object is completely out of the tire, the hole is completely filled and sealed, preventing any loss of pressure.
