Description
The successor to the Yokohama ADVAN A048, the new ADVAN A052 is the ultimate semi-slick tyre approved for road use. With a tread inspired by tarmac rally tyres, this tyre has better cornering performance as well as highly superior grip and handling whatever the weather conditions. The ADVAN A052 tyre admirably fulfils all applicable European noise regulations (R117-02).

Excellent! Better than expected on wet and perfect on dry

For years very satisfied with the Advan Neova AD08R (s), switched to the better AD09. But this A052 is really on another level. Phenomenal grip on dry, and even better grip in wet compared to the ad08/09. Which already perform very well in both driving situations. The best semi-slicks ever, especially in terms of price / quality.

Great semi slick, nothing to complain about. I regularly drive on wet and even wet road and the tires don't move. The tires maintain a good temperature and don't overheat compared to ad08 and ad08r, which overheat quickly. However, don't expect to make 15k km with a set of tires, which is logical.

- Road - Sporty - 4500 km
Lots of grip in corners and when accelerating. Even better than the Toyo R888R. Unfortunately, the wear is also commensurate, and the front tires need to be replaced after 4500 km.
- Racing track - Sporty - 500 km
Semi-slicks chosen for the use of my car in "historic climbs" and some track outings. Perfect grip and cornering that gives the feeling of sticking to the road. Also usable on open road to reach the demonstration site. I recommend them.
