The Metzeler Karoo Street is characterized by a multi-radius profile with a wider and longer contour to increase the ground contact area and thus improve grip and stability even during tilts. The height of the shape has been significantly increased to enhance shock absorption and comfort.

I fitted this tire a little before going to the RGA. Very good behavior in sequences of turns and curves, both on dry and wet roads. It also remains satisfactory on dry paths. It should be avoided as soon as it becomes a bit slippery, at the same time it is not intended for that. Before fitting this tire, I was already equipped with "Metzeler Karoo street". I was very satisfied from the start and that's why I chose the same range again. With the previous rear tire, I was able to do 14000 km and there was still some rubber left. I will continue to use this range of tires for road use because I am very satisfied. For "off-road" use, I have chosen the Karoo 4.
No further comment, tyres not yet fitted, I fit these tyres to be able to drive on less paved roads.

I like the tyre model but not the company's policy because they only inform about the manufacturing date of the tyres when they are over 3 years old, and in my case, they sent me a tyre close to that date. They should warn about this aspect and let the customer choose based on that. I will not repeat my purchase.
Not yet fitted, but I noticed that the reference DOT of the tyre construction is NOT very recent.
